Clifton Stennett

Clifton Stennett comes from a long line of dancers and musicians and has been singing and dancing since before he was able to able to read and write.Clifton’s dance background consists of Reggae, Hip-Hop, R & B and salsa. He is also a songwriter and has been singing and recording Dancehall reggae for the past 8 years and has performed with several Hip-Hop and Reggae dance groups.
Clifton has been dancing salsa for 3 years and has trained intensely under Jennifer Aucoin of Steps Dance Studio and Giovanni Torres of Los Salsomanos. His rapid-fire learning, his comfort on stage and his love of performing led him to join and perform with the Steps Student Group. He later joined Los Salsomanos Dance Company and began performing professionally. He has performed with the team at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress, the Canada Salsa Congress, Salsa on St. Clair and at both corporate and dance events across Ontario.
His outgoing manner, energy, patience and love of dance make him a welcome addition to the Steps teaching team.
