Efren has been dancing his entire life, as part of his Latin culture. He started formally training in 2007 and hasn’t looked back ever since. He joined the STEPS family in 2008, and has been able to train with some of the most recognized dance instructors in the world, such as Billy Fajardo, Katie Marlow and Nelson Flores in varied form of dancing. This has made of Efren one of the most fun, knowledgeable and versatile instructors in the Toronto latin dance world.

His passion for dancing and for the music itself makes of every single one of his performances a joy to watch. The energy he exurbs whilst dancing makes everyone want to get up and dance! This has taken him to perform in Puerto Rico, New York, Montreal, and in various venues and events in Toronto.

This joy for dance has made him a staple in the Toronto dance scene. You can find him every week dancing the night away at different dance clubs or events the city has to offer.
